1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Bite News (the App), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What Bite News is
Bite News aggregates headlines from third-party news publishers and presents a short summary of each story, along with a link back to the original publisher for the full article. We do not author the underlying news content.
3. Accounts
You may sign in with a phone number (via SMS one-time code) or a supported account sign-in method. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape, republish, or resell App content in bulk; attempt to circumvent premium features or paywalls; interfere with the App operation or security; or use the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
5. Premium subscription
Premium is an optional paid tier that removes ads and enables offline reading of your top articles. Subscription pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation are handled through the app store you subscribed via, and its standard refund and cancellation policies apply.
6. Accuracy disclaimer
While we aim for accuracy, summaries may occasionally omit nuance or contain errors. Bite News is not a substitute for the original reporting it links to — always consult the source article for the complete, publisher-verified account of a story.
7. Third-party links and content
Tapping Read full or a source link takes you to a website we do not control and are not responsible for. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site own terms and privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
Headlines, images, and article content remain the property of their respective publishers. The Bite News app, its design, and its summarization output are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
9. Limitation of liability
The App is provided as is without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the Last updated date above.
